Born 1966 in Heidelberg, Germany. Study of medicine in Siena, Italy. Then study of Opera Directing at the university of Hamburg with Prof. Götz Friedrich, director of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, with Harry Kupfer, chief director of the Komische Oper Berlin, Peter Konwitschny, Ruth Berghaus and Achim Freyer, graduated with honour.
